About carefree
xeriscapes
At Care Free Xeriscapes, our mission is simple: create landscapes that are easy to live with. Your outdoor space shouldn’t demand constant water, maintenance, or repair — it should work with Southern California’s climate, not against it.
Inspired by a longtime mentor and a deep appreciation for cactus and drought-tolerant plants, we specialize in clean, low-water designs built for durability and long-term efficiency. From sculptural succulents to modern gravel layouts and smart irrigation systems, every element is selected for performance, sustainability, and style.
Care Free Xeriscapes is owned and operated by Peter Cavaretta, a Fallbrook native and licensed C-27 Landscape Contractor. Peter and his wife manage each project hands-on, guiding clients from the first consultation through final installation.
We proudly serve California homeowners with honest communication, thoughtful design, and landscapes built to stay beautiful with minimal upkeep.
